VIRTUAL PRIVATE PARTIES

We are now offering Virtual Private Parties for adults and teens. We will guide you and your guests through an art project of your choice in a live Zoom workshop.

Tie Dye? Nature Printing? Sun Prints? Whether it’s for a birthday party, bachelorette, baby shower, or anything in between—stay safe and take your experience online! We can discuss some creative ideas and work with you on ordering supplies. Private events are great for 6+ participants.

TIE DYE

Tie Dye is back! Jump on the tie dye trend and make it yourself. And, better yet, make something old new again. We will be teaching different tying techniques to create fun patterns, how to dye with different colors, and more. This will be a fun 90 minutes of playing with color and pattern.

Tie Dye is such a fun process to play with color and make new things. We will be painting and splattering dye onto old garments to create new wearable works of art. This workshop is for anyone and everyone. No prior experience necessary. This activity is good for all ages. It’s a fun opportunity to make something together but apart.

SUN PRINTS

In this workshop we will use sunshine to make images. We will  guide guests through the process of making cyanotype photograms, one of the oldest forms of photography that doesn't use a camera. Participants will learn how to compose images using a variety of  objects and materials, including fresh botanicals, and develop the  prints in the sunshine.

HAND BLOCK PRINTS

In this workshop, you will take advantage of bottles and packaging you might have to create stamps and print colorful patterns on fabric or paper. 

Our Hand Block Printing workshop builds mindfulness through a meditative art practice. Printing each block one by one builds patience and practice for slowing down. Participants are rewarded with a complex product that showcases their careful process, an infinitely creative piece made from the simplest of building blocks.
