RISD Alumni Shibori Workshop

Indigo Shibori is the ancient Japanese art of resist dying using various binding, twisting, wrapping, tying and stitching techniques to achieve unpredictable and gorgeous results on fabric. We learned many different shaped resist techniques such as shibori and itajime and quickly got busy with our hands in the indigo vats.
